Go! Make disciples – multiply simple churches
Training weekend in Vasa 20 – 22 March 2020
Do you want to make disciples of Jesus? Would you like to see the Kingdom of God spread in Finland far beyond the walls of existing churches? Do you want to make disciples who make disciples and be part of an emerging grassroots movement of simple, missional churches? Then we think this training weekend in Vasa is for you! The weekend will be a time when you will be equipped practically to make disciples and start simple churches in people’s homes or in other places.
The goal of the training weekend is for the participants to:
- Catch the vision for the multiplication of disciples and simple churches.
- Identify their own social context and the people to whom they are sent.
- Trained to share their story and the good news of Jesus and his kingdom.
- Learn to make disciples through Discovering Bible Study (DBS).
- Have a basic understanding of how simple churches are founded and work.
- Put the content of the weekend into practical action and in turn train others.
The training weekend will include 2 hours of hands-on training in healing and evangelism on the streets and squares of Vasa.
Speakers: Charles Kridiotis (Sweden), Miika and Janica Kaunismäki, Sami Blommendahl and Otto Peltola will share their insights and experiences, but there will also be plenty of time for interactive Discovery Bible Studies, practical exercises, discussion, questions and answers.
